Meet Our Principal: Christina Clayton

We are excited to introduce our Principal, Christina Clayton, who leads Sabin Middle School with a deep commitment to student success and community collaboration. Under her leadership, our school is focused on ambitious goals designed to help every student thrive.

This year, Sabin is working toward increasing student growth by 5% on STAR Math and ELA assessments. To achieve this, we are aligning our learning targets and instructional tasks with state standards, structuring classrooms around intentional teaming rather than passive grouping, and creating learning environments where students are actively engaged rather than simply compliant. These practices will help students build a stronger sense of ownership over their learning and result in meaningful gains in achievement.

Additionally, Sabin is integrating MTSS systems to identify critical action steps, address our Student Performance Priority Challenge, and increase student agency in learning.

Principal Clayton is proud to guide these efforts, ensuring that our school remains a place where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
